The 2021 Pelito Lindo is a new Garnacha bottling produced with grapes from three vineyards in the paraje, or lieu-dit, Navahondilla of Villanueva de Ávila, where the soils contain pink granite. The grapes were harvested over a period of 15 days, given the differences between vineyards. The three plots were vinified separately with different percentages of full clusters and length of maceration and matured in 225- and 500-liter oak barrels for 10 months. It's elegant and clean, with a floral nose and hints of wild berries and herbs, medium-bodied and beautifully textured, tight-knit, serious and very tasty. It's a great addition to their portfolio. 1,000 bottles were filled in August 2022. WA
