Like the Ruchottes, this was very strongly reduced and borderline unpleasant aromatically. I allowed this 24 hours of air but it didn't help much though the reduction did lift on the palate to reveal noticeably oaked medium-bodied flavors that possess impress mid-palate concentration thanks to the abundant level of dry extract before terminating in a mildly bitter if length finish. Once again, while I like the underlying material, it's far from clear that this is going to eventually harmonize. Readers should be aware that my rating is as much hopeful as anything else because at present, this is not especially interesting even while factoring in the obvious element that this is very young. We'll see in time but today I would strongly advise against opening a bottle.
